Parsol®
1789 is an advanced UVA sunscreen that is becoming more frequently
used in sun care products in the United States. It protects
against long wavelength UVA rays, while most traditional lip
balms with sunscreen protect primarily against UVB and short
wavelength UVA rays. Long wavelength UVA rays penetrate deeper
into the skin than UVB rays and can cause excessive dryness,
fine lines and wrinkles, irregular skin pigmentation and even
a weakening of the skin's immune system, and cancer.
